Frequently Asked Questions
If you’re new at Pinoy Maritime Job Boards and you’re having difficulty learning your way through the pages, then these FAQs is for you.
- I’m an employer, how can I post a new job?
Click the “Post a New Job” button and fill up all the necessary details and information needed. Be specific as much as possible.
- I finished writing the details but when I click “Publish this Ad” button, it’s not working?
All published jobs will be approved by the moderator of this job board. Until your job is reviewed, it will remain pending, especially if it’s a bogus job. So be sure to write your contact number (preferably landline), complete address, and contact person so your job post will be approved immediately. If your ad does not meet our guidelines it will not be approved for publishing. It will be deleted without warning. Free resources are often abused. Abusers of our system will be dealt with immediately. No warnings are given.
- I’m a job applicant, how can I apply for a job?
You simply select the latest jobs at the “Spotlight Jobs” or at the “Most Recent Jobs Offers”. If you want to be specific, the bottom page has a link that can help you narrow down your search.
- Is it possible to send a job application to a friend?
Yes, you can send it to a friend. You just click the link “Recommend to a friend” and you’re good to go.
- What if the job post is wrong, or not true?
If you found the job post of a company is not true, not updated, or the details are false, you just click the “Report it” link.
- What can your service do for me?
That’s a good question! Our services can put your job in front of people; I mean lots of people! Our job board tweet your jobs out into the twitterverse, we share them on facebook, and a few other social networks. Indeed, Juju, and Simply Hired all index our content. Jobs are also indexed by Google within minutes, as Google visits us several times per hour.
- Are there restrictions on postings?
Yes. We respectfully request that job posters don’t abuse our system. Do not cross-post the same position into multiple cities. Instead of posting the same job repeatedly, just include all locations in ONE ad. Do not post more than 5 ads per hour or 12 ads in a 24 hour period. If you have a large number of jobs contact us through our contact form so we can talk about the best methods on how to post it. We reserve the right to make a final decision on all ads posted.
We hope that we’ve answered your questions, if you have any suggestions or questions send us an e-mail through our contact form. We’d like to hear from you…
